Showalter Fountain

Here's a shot looking across Showalter Fountain (shown earlier) up close, featuring one of the famous "fish" that have spawned so many IU urban legends.

It's good to be back.

The legend states that the statue comes to life if a virgin graduates from IU or something... (Someone correct this if possible, I forget every time!) However, the statue never comes to life... so I suppose it has never happened.

Also, occasionally a senior class will steal one of the fish and then replace it. That statue has gone through hell, basically.

You were TOTALLY missin' me and my lengthy posts, drahcir.

Sweet shot.

I remember when some people had 'decorated' the statue with shaving cream underwear. Or was it pasties? It was a while ago.

We jumped in the fountain after highschool graduation either way.
